When having a Crazy Hair Party, can the kids catch Lice? There are no hair brushes or combs used at our parties. We onlyuse our finger to style hair. The transfers of lice will only occur through using combs, brushes or any head to head contact. If lice are spotted in a child's hair they will not miss out on the fun, the hosts will be notified if requested at the end of the function... Does the colour wash out? The products we use are at a professional level, so they should all wash out. If it does happen to rub onto your child's clothes, it should all come out in a regular wash. What styling products do you use? The only styling product we use is a water based Gel. Who Runs Crazy Hair Parties? Penny Etyngold founded Crazy Hair Parties in 2003. She is a qualified hairdresser who has worked in the hair industry for over 18 years. Penny decided to make hairdressing fun, by creating party ideas so kids and adults can get a buzz out of it. Penny loves children and gets a kick out of seeing smiling faces with crazy hair! Are your Staff members hairdressers? Most of our staff are hairdressers, but we do have helpers who decorate and colour your hair after our hairdressers have finished styling. Do l need to provide anything? No, we bring it all to you! All you need is a small space indoors or outdoors. Please keep in mind that we need shelter if you plan to have your party outdoors. How long do your parties go for? That depends on how many children you have at your party. Generally, we take roughly an hour to an hour and a half. We always bring enough staff to cater for any size party. We like to base our completion on happy faces, not on time. How do I book a party? You can book your party online via our contact form or by phoning 0422 416 141. Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, we do require a $50.00 deposit to be paid on booking your party. Your deposit will secure your party date. How far in advance do l need to book? If you are looking for a specific date, then it's best to book as early as possible because we do get booked up quickly. We often get bookings from a month to 12 months in advance. I had Penny and her team do my daughter Sami?s 10th birthday and what a great time they had! Penny?s fun, happy and outgoing nature/attitude was an absolute hit with the kids (and Parents too!). The kids loved seeing what style, colour and accessories were being put in their hair and the makeup made them look like Princesses. The photoshoot was a great idea with the ?models? raring to go! My daughter won a crazy hair party by colouring in a picture for the competition. she was so excited to have won something and even more so as it was a party for 10 friends.Which also made mum and dad happy as we had the Crazy Hair people come to our daughters party and go crazy and keep 10 children busy.My daughter was the most popular girl in her class and they haven't stopped talking about her party.
